This milk jug mirrors the shape of Helen’s mugs and is a good size for milk for a few visitors, a great size for any sort of sauce or Helen suggests; “heat some sugar in a pan until it starts to bubble, throw in a couple of shots of whiskey and serve in the jug to pour over ice cream”
Hand-thrown in terracotta clay in Belfast, Helen has chosen a beautiful, smooth, turquoise glaze that contrasts with the exposed dark clay perfectly. The overall shape is a delight to hold and pour, with the lines and curves as evidence that each piece is made by hand.
Dimensions and Care:
Each jug measures approx. 8.5cm tall, are 8.5cm in diameter and can hold 300ml. This piece is safe to use in the oven and dishwasher but not recommended for the microwave as the terracotta clay heats up very quickly.
